Fri. 12 April,  about 8:30 a.m.

My hubby went thru some minor heart surgery this week and of course it caused life to happen.  He is doing quite well, and considered a heart patient for life.

The daffys have been so pretty. some are still in the blooming stage.  Slowly blooming is coming to an end.

The hyacinth are nearing the end of their blooming and mixed in with the daffys, are making quite a show before the end of their season.

The Tulips are coming into bloom.  One is normal tulip shape, red with yellow trim on each petal.
Another of the same color combo, has 6 pointed petals.. and another with the softest yellow tulip I have ever seen, has the 6 pointed petals.

Grass is mostly green, or should I say the weeds are green.  We have a lawn unique to our yard.  There are those who are fortunate enough, have even mowed this spring.

Trees are dropping their flower petals, and making it look like a slow snow fall, and when winds are right, can make the streets look like snow.. sort of makes me think it is cold outside. : )

Hubby is released back to normal activities as of today, and that is a relief.  Yesterday was a battle to
keep him "kicked back and resting" as the Dr. ordered.. What a tussle of minds and determination.  Lol,  I won this time.  lol

Quilting is on my agenda today,  and I look for a nice long day of doing the job that is now on the quilt frame.

I use an APQS quilting machine,  and have now added the Side Saddle computer system.

I am going to make some simple, but very pretty quilts to sell.. maybe blues, greens, brown, reds,
red-white-blue..  Just so pretty when so simple a design.

Thats all, Folks,
