Thurs. August 29, '13

Yesterday was so busy I didn't have time to get in and finish posting anything.

We are going to have some things done on the house.   Trying to figure out what, with the money we will have.  It is not easy to do.

Quilting made progress yesterday, and more is planned for the rest of today.

Getting serious on completing the Show quilt.. and need a Quilt of Valor for the show.  I won't enter them in the fair which comes first.  The show takes presidence with that.

Weather was warm but not heavy with humidity, so I spent a few minutes outdoors, and enjoyed that.

I helped baby sit the quilted car at the Baby Boomers Expo (and senior citizens assistance).  Once I'm finished with the Quilt Show I will be checking out a few things at the Sr. Center, which is called "Enrichment Center".

There seems to be another group to check out, and I will do that, also.

I need variety and other interests in my daily living.

Roland is still working on the shaggy quilt blocks.  He plans to make 4 baby quilts and then keep making them for Community Service and Safe House folks.

I'm trying to figure out the pattern for the QoV.  I'm thinking the Barn Door,  Monkey Wrench are the two I can use just two colors and white to make.  Both are fairly easy to make.

Work is waiting..

Have a wonderful day with nothing but good thoughts.
