October 6, 2013   Sunday

Weather today is to bring some moisture.  So far it is only overcast and sort of looks to be dismal outdoors.

Yesterday I spent 8 hours in the quilting room, working on the one quilt.. I finally got it off the frame, and to the dsm and sewed the binding on.   Wrong.. the dsm didn't stitch,  top tension is so loose that it looped more than 1/8 th  inch on the underside.  It's a wonder it didn't pull the threads into the bobbin race.

Anyway, the binding has been frogged, and is ready to go,  again!

Today I will be putting the University quilt on the frame and play with it.   Also need to get more time in on the two quilt show entries.. won't post picts of either until after the quilt show, October 18-19.

In any case I will be having a lot of fun.. and sore body or not, (low back and mid upper back are the worst).  It's all a matter of moderation.. quilt 15 min. take a half hour break.  and repeat and repeat through the day.

The contractor will be coming tomorrow to decide if he is able to take on the job of putting 3 windows in.  The original needs to be replaced, two more on the roadside wall and I hope one on the adjoining wall to give me a view of the driveway.

All the windows have to be replaced, just not sure when, or how.   I guess when is going to be when we have the money or I sell things we don't need, want, and would like to see them in a better home than we can give.

I nearly forgot, we have Christmas coming up, will need money for that shopping as well.
Christmas is only 72 days away,  and that's just over 2 months.. shopping, cards, paper letters.
Decorations outside and a few indoors.

Thanksgiving comes first, and there are billions of things to be thankful for.

Halloween  well it is quiet here, not one trick or treator

invisible stitching

Have a wonderful day
