Tuesday    January 20, 2014

Today is still, chilly and going to be great for quilting.  Gradually I am getting these little odds and ends done and off the UFO list.

I hope to be adding a couple of pictures today.. I think I did post them unfinished.  Now they are done.

We feel good to get out the machines and make progress with something.. be it a new project, or getting the old ones finished.

I think I have 4 sets of partly sewn blocks, that were donated to the guild, and ended up with me.

One is the bear Paw, one is a 9 patch and I don't remember the last.   I don't know which I'll start on first.. or continue on.  I believe the 9 patch is the one I worked on for a while.

In the mean time, I have a beautiful Quilt of Valor to get quilted.  It is SO Very pretty!  I will have to ask the piecer if she minds me posting a pict of it.  I so badly want to.

I have all kinds of projects to do and one of making potato bead earring and necklace,  and one set of Fimo.  I know I need more than just the two sets for me to wear, but they will, as usual, have to wait a while.

This first picture is of a stack of 4, double layres of fleece and 8 of the woven fabric quilts,  all finished.

I will take some to the Haven, our Safe House here in Sanford, and keep a few for the Habitat for Humanity house recipients, and turn some into the guild.

I also am making the pot holders/hot pads for use in the microwave.  Sure a nifty neat project.

Since Himself got a new sewing machine for Christmas and a box of attachments to go with it, for his birthday, he hasn't any excuses for not sewing.

I've gotten my first job in cutting strips for a lady in our guild..  Sure is fun, so quick and best of all, Very Accurate.

The day is calling and I haven't checked the email.

Have wonderful, uneventful day and stay well, avoid the flu at all costs.
