Time Flies!!

July 1, 2013,          Never to be seen again.        The year is half gone.

177 Days until Christmas.  Start items you plan to make now it lets much more love and time, corrections if needed to be made into gifts showing our love,  if we start now and not wait until the last minute.  Do I follow my own advice,  lol,  only when I want to.

We are getting a very mild taste of  the rains the midwest was and are still getting.  We've had some rain every day, for many days now, and about another 5-6 days to go, then a couple days break and more rain.

It is overcast and on the darker, gloomy side.  I will Not Let the Depression sink in.

We took granddaughters car over to the shop to have the ac fixed.  Young gal, first job as chef, about 30 miles away, shift hours change, going to and from work at various hours, with windows open to help cool things a bit.  Too dangerous for any young gal and more-so if that gal is quite good looking.

Featured photos for today are first, one of my most favorite photos of all time..  except for kids and grand kids.

I saw this as I sat at the desk or computer, and looked out onto the deck.  They let me walk right up to the patio door, open it and take the picts.  close the door and go download.. they kept on eating for quite a while.

This one was made for a dear sweet lady who is sort of our Sub Mom.. she filled in as best she could after my mother-in-law died, and is dearly loved for sure.!  !  !  God loves her and so do we.  So blessed to have her.  So Love you Bernice G. in Mapleton Ia.

I also have this deer panel.  it is large, about 36 by 40 inches.  A border or two will make it into a nice sized quilt, for sale or for Quilts of Valor, which means for a veteran or current member of the Armed Forces that was wounded in some way, physical or otherwise.  God Bless them and I love every one of them who have in the past served for the best of the Great USA, through now and on into the future.  They deserve so much more than a mere quilt as our thanks.
