A wonderful day is laying out ahead of me. I will enjoy every second of it, in some way.
It is so refreshing to wake up at dawn, look out and watch as the dark turns to day. A clear sky and sunshine makes it terrific after so many days of just peeks of sun, and rain and more rain.
Today is going to be a good one. Only one appt. and that is in town, so there is plenty of free time to do as I can.
Largely time will be spent on putting all the small containers and a couple bags of scraps into one large container. After the fabric room is organized, It will be much easier to find what I'm after in yardage, and larger scraps, and we can spend some time, separating colors of the scraps into smaller container, and again, smaller and larger.
I just so want to have it all neat after several years of only Himself able to keep house.. lol.. I look deeper, and clean and clear differently. I am able to get rid of things I no longer need, don't use, don't want.
his next picture shows an in expensive quilt which we found laying in the middle of a road, one night.
I took all the quilting out, took the cheap batting off and took the cheap backing off. I will quilt it up one day. We like the look of the quilt, and I'm looking forward to doing the job, the only thing which I am not looking forward to is all the straight stitching against the dark green strips, which we call stitching in the ditch, or right exactly where the white and green meet, so the stitching isn't visible. It will give me a lot of practice, on a quilt I will keep for our use.

This next picture shows a quilt I saw somewhere and so badly want to make.
If you are, or know the owner of this quilt, or the designer, will you please let me know so I can give due credit?
This will make a good project, block by block, to cut out and applique, while waiting for appointments. The problem with that is we don't have to wait long enough to get more than a few stitches in at a time, but a stitch in time, saves nine? is that the saying?
Time to close for the day, and on to a wonderful day.
See you again, same place, same author.
