The Lords Day, and it is wonderful.

Today is our daughter, Dawn's birthday.  She is 54 years.  I remember that day so well.. born in the  public hospital, Tacoma General,  and was so vastly different than when Verne (Laverne) was born at the old hospital, Madigan, at Fort Lewis Army Base, Tacoma Washington.

We can finally see some blue sky and just a few small clouds going by.   It is almost painful to look out into that Bright sun.. The eyes want to squinch up and just peek.

The projects I'm going to post today are of some quilt projects, some organizing, some craft quilts, and maybe even a flower or two, or an animal.   Just anything that comes to mind.

This first one is of  the mess I had at one time.

And this what it looked like after we got the shelving put in.  Soooo much better and so easy to find what fabric I needed. .  This is really a very small amount of fabric for a stash.

Now I have much more and it looks a lot worse.  We are taking care of that this week.  I just can't function in this mess.   No picts of it now.  lol, I don't want anyone to see it now.

I am so glad I made this for the young boy, was it Shane or Chris..  it is such a happy quilt.. Now I know to either stick with a plain side to side design, or custom quilt both if giving to brothers or sisters.
