Once again I am going to say, getting away from home for a few days, really rejuvenates a person,
not only physically, but mentally/emotionally!

I feel so fired up about quilting.  It had become a chore rather than fun most of the time.  If it happens again, We'll just have to take a couple nights away.

Now I'm able to get back to quilting, and have fun, enjoy it, and look at the beauty the quilting gives..

I finished the top to grandsons quilt yesterday, and today will finish up the quilt that is on the frame and get his on.  I thought I'd be able to accomplish that yesterday.  It just didn't work out.
Not a lot to do on the quilt.

The weather has been beautiful.  It's been in the 70's and below 60 at night.  Wonderful for the power bill for the AC.

We've had a few light showers, and that's nice too. 

Yesterday we planted permanent flowers.  They will bloom all winter if we leave them there.  LOL, we need to go back to dollar tree and get a bunch more.

I only have yellow and white now, need more variety, am thinking pink, and maybe some red or purple.

This fall, I'll change a lot out and put in Reds and Whites, with some Gold.

I'm ready to go to work and get some serious quilting in before I have to go to an appt., then return an item to Belks.
