Weather is perfect for fishing, and no time! Sunny with puffy white clouds scattered across the sky. Coming out of the north east, which is keeping our temps down. I'm sure no one minds.
Today is going so good. Cleaning, sorting and the quilt on the frame !! I love it. having fun too.
Today I went into the spare room and began going thru the stuff on the floor. Made a lot of progress, but can't crow until a lot of the larger pieces have been rolled onto boards. Just too easy to knock a stack over while doing other things if just folded, and the boards make it much quicker and simpler to pick up..
Progress with the show quilt needs to be stepped up. We found a lot of scraps for it and the other project I'm hoping to enter. The pieces and scraps will make it go much nicer and quicker.
I just feel like doing things.. too antsy to sit still very long. It didn't help though, to have the computer glasses on instead of the regular pair. A lot did got done.. found several bags of projects, or pieces cut for something. I've no idea what, but they will go into a project.
Some of what I found were blocks and pieces for a quilt someone else started and didn't want to finish.. With help from Himself, it shouldn't take long to finish most of them. There are I think I found 2 of them that have a lot more piecing to do but the pieces are all cut and stacked nicely..
A roasted chicken is in the oven, pealed potato's for mashed and some for home fries. We will have a big bowl of stir fried zucchini and yellow squash mixed, and the usual raw fresh vegetables and fruit.
We made some custard last evening, and some chocolate pudding. Either/both will taste good at the end of the meal, with a dab of home made ice cream and a cookie for a couple of extra treats.
Boiling larger potato's fist size, with those that are a silver dollar size. Himself is taking the small one that are cooked through out, and will finish cooking the larger pieces. so funny, the things we go through.
Praying you have a most blessed, peaceful, relaxing day.
'Till then,
