Today was still black outside when I awoke and got up. Daybreak brought black storm clouds which didn't stay around long, nor did it produce any rain. We are getting dry.
Yesterday had us frantically working on the Quilt of Valor that needs to be finished by this Sat. It will get done in spite of having to unsew or frog seams. The blocks weren't squared up to the correct size.
The unsewing done, today they are being cut to size and the resewing into blocks will continue.
The sashing still needs to be taken care of, and the top completed.. then on the quilting frame.
Tension mounts, then I remember that it will cause sewing problems and maybe end up in a fuss between the 2 of us.
Himself is helping cut, so far hasn't done any sewing.
Outdoors now the sky is clear, the sun doesn't seem to be quite as bright as it has been, and, it is so nice and cool out at 69 degree F. Lovely weather for fishing and I can't go. Maybe Murphy's Law??
On to the stitching and see how much I can get done before noon, when I have to get ready for a Dr. appt at 1. Should be home by 2:30 and get back to this quilt.
God Bless
