December 15, 2013

Sunday

Today is worship, and how I can do that.  So many things to thank Him for, also.

Please, will some of you post comments for me?   I'd like feed back about the blog, the quilting, the crafts, etc., etc..

Yesterday we bought me some much needed clothes.. dressier than every day, but not real dressy as in Dinners,  parties, etc.   Just some nice clothes, suitable for attending Church,  Dr. appts.  casual dining, and one day of every day pants.   All in My size.

Not much done in the line of quilting yesterday.  Finally got the kids quilts over to the family who received the last Habitat for Humanity house.   It has become a home.  Clean, nicely set up, fun for the family.

Other than running around, we didn't get much done here at home..   the infusion went well, we ate an early supper.. spaghetti.. it tastes better to us if it has chopped celery and onions in it.  Don't know why we didn't get them in.   It was good, just a different good!

Sewing took a back se3at.  I did get a couple of labels on more quilts.. nearly finished one, the Rhino panel quilt.

I have more to bind and label.   The labeling is going slow.. dang I hate to make labels..  Not bad when I use the iron on, but they only give about 3 designs before they die.  Makes it pricey.  I am going to sit me down in the next week or so and get that darned embroidery feature going on my Viking.   It's been dealing me fits.. and I think I know why.. it's a step in the process, that I'm not using.

Weather today is sort of dismal.  Overcast, had showers over night, at least it is warmer.  Already up to 43F, at 9:00 a.m.   I don't know what the forecast is for us today.

Today is going to be divided between listing books, hard cover, and soft cover, and binding, labeling the quilts.. maybe before this year ends I will have all the binding and labeling quilts done and be ready to start finishing the projects that someone else started.  Bear Claw, Maple Leaf, 9 patches, etc.

All will be fun to see coming alive as I progress.

Have a beautiful, worshipful and blessed day
