Thursday

 

It is a beautiful, sunny, totally clear skies day.. it is going to be a nice one, already 63F, at 11:30

 

I am getting a late start on this today.  No deadline to meet so not worried or antsy about getting to the quilting.

 

I did post yesterday but don't find it today.  It was a lazy day, just piddling around in quilting. 

Himself put together another shaggy quilt, and worked on the next which is almost finished. 

 

We actually got a holiday letter mailed out.  We might send a few locally, just not sure yet.  Also, still need gifts.. Paul, Dawn and Valerie.. I shall get that taken care of today.   We also have to get some gift cards, the spend anywhere kind.. for the grands, we think we will get them.  May come up with another idea.

 

I baked a few premixed cookies yesterday.  Still want to make the ones that fold opposite corners together, with filling of some kind.  I'm thinking some precooked meat, or vegies might taste good too.  Will need to check the recipe and see how much sweet is in the dough.

 

I was hoping we would have an estimate on the window installation by now, but nothing so far.

 

One goal for  today is to get a bunch of tumblers cut on the Accuquilt Studio, and eliminate a lot of the scraps.. some will only work in squares, rectangles.. and if long enough, over 18 inches, strips which can then be cut into squares or rectangles.

 

Lunch is calling me and I do want to get going on something, maybe the microwave bowls I've been making.  I've only 48 darts to sew.  LOL, each bowl requires 8 so it's 96, not 48.  Geesh, I  better get busy marking them.  One inch wide and 2 1/2 inches long.   thats going to be a long time-consuming chore, and one I'll probably not do in one sitting and sewing session.
