The Last Month of 2013

Today is the start of the last month of 2013..  it symbolizes so many different emotions to look back and remember all we did this year that was fun, different, away from the house, at the house, hosted a party, or tried to, tried a new restaurant to our area,  Longhorn down in What I think is maybe Aberdeen. 

December is the culmination of the year, the Guild, the Quilts, the ECA, the church,  the home.  The appliances that have been needing work, the Fridge-Freezer, the heat pump, the windows we'd like to have put in, the Storage, the yard, sad but not doing much in making it look like we care.  We won't plant petunias out front.  Deer love them too much.
remodeling of the kitchen cupboards is finally going on, and I pray they will be done before January 1, 2014.  Things are being given away, sold, trashed and we are trying to weed things out.. less for the kids to do in the future, when we are gone, easier to keep clean and dusted, and, looks better not so cluttered.

It is the end of a sickly year.. seems to hit faster, take longer to heal and longer time of spending days on medicines, to get me well again.
