I was going to wish everyone a Very Blessed New Year, and am late.

I realize I am already late for keeping  up with daily blog entries.     We have been very busy trying to quilt, fix things in the house, get labels and binding on quilts otherwise finished, Himself is getting ready to start more shaggy quilts.. and I'm going to join in on an eight month mystery.  I hope to make more than one of the 36" blocks to make a bed sized quilt.  It sounds as though some sashing and borders are going to be needed to make it bed size or size for Quilts of Valor, or a community service quilt.

 

I get so frustrated when I am not allowed to do a job for a project I am supposedly chairman of, as in Chairman of Quilts of Valor.  Several other gals have done it, but not me.    I think now that I have told the group that my project is just a token assignment, and I resign from it, they understand that I want to be able to bring the projects to the group, and get their yeah or nay.

 

I just don't understand doing things and not letting the group know what is being done and they have no choice to join in or ask to join in or not.  Not my way of doing things..

 

More later.. if I don't get dressed, I'll meet myself getting out of bed, as I climb in tonight.
