Today awakened to a white yard, looks to be some ice on top, and is filling the window screens with
freezing rain.  Pretty but for those who have to get out and around, very Dangerous.

I have two batches of snow dye fabrics to get rinsed and then into Retayne.  So anxious to see what they are looking like, and to maybe get another batch on.  I'm running out of white pieces and scraps to use for this fun.. I do have some very good fabrics which I dyed a couple pieces of, and will, as I learn more, dye more of the "good stuff".

We tried our best yesterday, to get as much done as we could, in case we lost power.  The power stayed on all night, and who knows what will happen today, with more snow coming.  I pray folks are able to stay safe.

I will be adding some picts of the third batch later today.  have to get picts first..

Then I get to gaze at the 4th batch, deciding what to use it for, before posting picts.. soon I hope.

Meanwhile I'm downloading a few quilting designs for my Side Saddle long arm computer to use.

I am anxious to get started on the next quilt.. a friendship quilt.  I've no idea what to do since I can't quilt by hand, and have no sashing to seperate the blocks.. too much background fill and too little star area.  I guess I'll go through the designs I now have and see if I can outline the star and fill the background.
