I won't have any  problem getting snow to dye fabric with.  I could have used ice cubes..  It looks to be nice and damp, unusual for us in the winter..

It's been a year or two since we had 4-5 inches.. this time it is forecast to be 4-6".  I certainly wish I had something I could use as a sled.  The closest I can find is a pizza pan.. can't scrunch myself up that small any more.   Wish I could.  maybe a piece of plastic and cardboard would do.   LOL, it would be so much fun.  I've not been sledding since I think 1962, before our third child was born.

There are things we need to do, get down the oil lamp and locate the oil, get out the real small propane tank for the lantern.  Make sure foods that we can cook fast on a camp stove are in a easily found place, etc.  Locate some matches.. should have gotten new ones.. These are so old, 8 years, that they barely light.

Himself went for extra food, milk and fruits and vegies we can eat raw, and tea bags which I'm out of.

This dead end, short road isn't going to get plowed before they are almost done with the other longer ones here in the county.  I guess that's one perk the city folks have over those in the county.

Oh well, if need be, he or I or both can hike the 1/3 mile to a fairly busy highway and get help from there.

A couple more pieces of fabric I dyed..

As long as power is on, I will be posting more picts of dyed fabric.  no power, no Internet/computer.

Have a wonderful snow-free day and if snowy, icy, please stay safe,  have fun and don't need emergency help.
God Bless all.
