June 24.

Such a beautiful day.. sun is out, for now the skies are mostly clear, it is already 78, so going to be hot for us today.  Humidity is running high so very damp/ mucky  to be out in.  This is the heavy cloying humidity that dampens the clothing.

Yesterday produced several leaders, cut as close to sizes we needed, and cut striaght, for the zippered
leaders we need.  The hems and zippers will go on today, and onto the machines frame.

Banana bread also made an appearance.. a few black raspberries were picked.. not much flavor to them.  Maybe all the rain has affected the berries.  I hope the red  do better.

I finally have one photo I can show on the quilting end.

This is a quilt I made several years ago.  At the same time a friend from Austrailia was making one also.  This is my version of the original quilt.  I forgot the name.  Maybe my friend can remember. I will contact her and ask.

The pattern was so easy and quick it will be a good one for making a quick gift.  It would also
be cute for a baby quilt on a blue or pink background, some I've seen were  peach, lavender, pale sherbert green and light tan.  These would also be good for folks in nursing homes.

Here is another I started, and ended up putting it in the trash.  It is about 3 feet high.  I know now what to do, so one day will start again.  this is just a pict. of the first attempt.   A few design changes will be made.

I used various colors of thread and fabrics to form the scenes.. and extra batting under the design parts to make them rise up from the background.

I'm going to post some picts showing 2 double sided fleece and one whole cloth printed panel, that I gave to the Family who received the last Habitat for Humanity house our local H4H group built.
