The site also shows other projects the guild has works on.
We have two extra appts added to our second half of the weeks schedule, then Right in the middle of yesterday, the busiest day, our car broke down, had to be towed, we had to rent a car, and in the middle of all that I was waiting to be picked up after an appt., our Granddaughter came over and rescued me, then later our grandson brought hubby home, and took both of us to an appt. where the rental was to be delivered by 3:30. Enterprise making us wait 3 hours to rent a car? Unheard of, I think, or is it? TOO darned pricy ! ! !
Added to that, our granddaughters ac went out on her car.. Hot drives, windows open, I really do not care for. Miserable! Poor kid.
We worked on the leaders for the quilt frame, and some on the quilt top that is in progress of being pieced. I should have both finished and ready to go right about the same time. It will be a relief especially to have the leaders finished.
The sun is out, bright and pretty.. hot and muggy are to be our features for today.
Yesterday in looking through the publication "Triangle Gardener" by Triangle Gardener.LLC, of NC., that there are butterfly plants that thrive in our area, and drought reswistant. Drought is anything but the truth as in many of our US areas today.
Now we know what to look for when out looking.
The following picture is one that was taken as we drive down our road (Lane) to the house. I can't see scenes like this too often, and never two the same.
The views like this make one feel so relaxed, comfy, unworried.
This is a sunset on a different day. The prettiest part was over the house, and not flooding into
the northern section. One day I will see a beauty and be able to find the camera and walk down to the road, and Pray I get a much less cluttered photo of the sunset.
