Today we have a nice rain coming down.,. not heavy, but steady.  We so badly need it.  We haven't seen rain in a few weeks now and lawns are showing it.

It was nice for sleeping last night and I didn't get there.  Just one of those nights that I can't get to sleep, so will be perking on dregs of energy all  day today.

We have to finish putting the strips of the Quilt of Valor together with sash, and a border.  It is
looking nice.   It shouldn't be hard to quilt.. I'm going to use an edge to edge pattern only for the blocks  not for the borders.  The blocks and prints are too busy for  custom work.. and have to have it finished.  The deadline I'm not going to be able to meet is Tomorrow..  ready for binding.

Today 2 Dr. appts., one at 4 pm down the road about 30 miles in Pinehurst.  That will take a big chunk out of my time.    The other appt is supposed to be in that time vacinity, but haven't found out the time yet. 

I'm praying the work left to do, goes well and without a lot of frogs and rippets around, as I go.
A nice calm day of quilting is just what is needed.

We went out to eat last night after handing out the Farm 2 Table local produce boxes.

Good intentions to get the strips all sewn and ready for the vertical sash, when we got home went by the wayside.  We just couldn't do it.
