It's been too long since I've posted.. Life gets in the way. I'm sure everyone will understand.
I hope To get in some good quilting time this afternoon. Won't be home until we get the haircuts, so about 3:45. I've not gotten much done the last couple of days.
This whole week has been turned upside out and round about. It started with both of us with appts on Mon., and my appt. this afternoon. Himself didn't take the appt. card along and couldn't find the Dr. office. He was 20 minutes late, and the Dr. was running late, and would be another 30 minutes before he got there. Himself rescheduled.
Shortly after we got home, a lady from Corum, the infusion company.. called and wants to stop by and chat. OK, set for Wednesday at 3-4..
Then I Got a call last night from The hospital pre-registration seeking info to speed up the check in time, for Outpatient surgery. Got all that taken care of.
Up at 5:30, no breakfast, nothing per oral but for the two pills with a taste of water. Got showered and all cleaned up, headed out the door. Got behind several slow drivers, and right in the middle of rush hour, (at least rush hour for here), finally got to the check in desk only 20 min. early. They got me checked right in, and regis. came out to get me. Went back, signed my life away and initialed 3 places.. Was taken back to Outpatient Surgery, and they couldn't find me. I was on the list out front, but not on their list. And the Dr. doesn't do anything at the hospital but visit patients on Tues.
After a good 45 minutes, we ended up coming home.. stopped for breakfast and took a quick tour through Carthage.
When it was all said and done, it was scheduling that blew it big time, the test IS for Oct. 24. Not Sept 24. A half day wasted.
Weather was on the crisp/chilly bandwagon today, felt good. Himself wore a light jacket, and I didn't wear any. Clear, sunny with a few whisps of cloud now and then. I've no idea what the forecase is to be.
Time to get busy on quilty stuff...
Have a blessed day,
