Dawn is just breaking, and it still has that cozy, comfy indoor feeling, and as though one will be stepping out into a light chill.. It is only 54 F out. Nice for sleeping, no heat pump going on and off..
The quilt top is nearly finished.. I'm having to trust the process to no errors of any size to take care of.
The quilt will get done and I may do myself in, also. Strange how old bodies tire so quickly.
I've arranged the quilt blocks so it goes from dark red in the bottom left corner, to the mid and light reds in a diagonal and meets the light, then medium blues and on into the dark blues in the top right corner.
Today will be spent putting in the sashing and the border. I think I'm only going to use a Royal Blue sash and a border.. not so sure about using a red, or red/white/blue print outside of that. If so I will bind it with dark blue. I love quilts to be framed in with borders. I usually make the first border the same width as the sash. This time I think I will make it a little wider. Before I cut and sew it on, I will lay a couple pieces of the sash over each other to show the approximate width I think I'd like, then I can see if it is going to look as I pray.
We had a short night though quite refreshed today. It will be a long day. Finish the quilt top, spend 5-6 hours handing out Farm to Table fresh produce boxes to subscribers, and then out to eat. Neither of us feel like getting home after 7 and fixing food.
I wonder how a tazzer would affect a reptile, a snake in particular.
Have a wonderful day.. few pressures and many blessings.
