November 4, 2013   Monday

Weather is so beautiful and leaves have begun falling with a vengence.  Colors are the fall colors.. and so pretty.   The Lord had fun when he was making these trees and bushes.

It's been a long time since I've been in here to post.  Could not seem to make time during the crush and crunch of the many time limits we were under for so many weeks.  It's so comfy to be able to sit back and do  things, that I want to work on, not what I have to do.

I just finished a childs quilt, two layers of fleece, used the computer on the quilter and it whizzed right on through it, not one thread break, and no empty bobbins.  I am so thrilled.  Not one error either.  There weren't any bobbins going empty as I'd checked the fullness when I started, and ended at one row of the pattern which I thought, is about where I'd run out, and it was close.

The pattern is of a Vintage sedan type Panel and a Vintage Pick-Up.  Quite cute for a young boy.

I have also gotten his sister's quilt to the point where it only needs a label on, and fringe cut.

Fridge is dealing us fits, washer is dealing us fits and the 3rd fit is the heat pump, and no idea how old it is, and how long it can live..

We have some "stuff"  floating in the air.  I'm just wondering if something in Central North Carolina has fall pollen.

Evening, Supper Time.

The "stuff" we had in the air was a burn barrel one of the neighbors used.  Glad I didn't go out to see, and end up inhaling the smoke.

With the sun setting so early, or so it seems,  it makes me hungry and just a little sleepy right after supper.  We both want to snooze then, he does, I don't.

Finished the second fleece quilt for today.

I pray for peace on earth!  It is so badly needed.

b back sooner than this last time.
